The Prosecutor's Office has reportedly pressed charges against border control officer, identified only as I.Ts., who hit a minor (DOB 2008), known only as M.G., on 30 August at 23:00 (local time) on Beritashvili street, Tbilisi. The minor died after been taken to hospital.
The border control officer was detained on 31 August and charged on 1 September for violating traffic laws and road safety with this leading to death of another person.
The Prosecutor's Office plans to submit a motion on imprisoning the offender soon.
