G.S. could not carry out the intention because the victim was resisting and trying to escape. She was also assisted by a person nearby.
Law enforcers arrested G.S. on September 16. He is charged with the attempted murder of a family member on the basis of gender. He was sentenced to imprisonment as a measure of restraint.
Tbilisi City Court sentenced G.S. to 14 years in prison.
