Georgia's Georgian Interior Ministry launched an investigation into the violence on election day.

First Deputy Interior Minister Kakhaber Sabanadze said that the police launched an investigation into 12 facts of a criminal offense committed on election day throughout Georgia.

Administrative proceedings began on 16 facts concerning the police competence.

In his words, an investigation has been launched regarding the incident in Gldani with the journalist of "Publika.''

Proceedings have been launched on physical violence in polling station No. 40 of Tbilisi under Article 126-1 of the Criminal Code;

By part 1 of article 162 of the Criminal Code, an investigation is underway in connection with the incident in the IV micro-district of Varketili, near the 39th and 40th polling stations;

Under the first part of Article 126 of the Criminal Code, proceedings were launched on the incident at polling station No. 78 on the Kakheti highway in Tbilisi;

An investigation is underway under Articles 187 and 162 of the Criminal Code of Georgia in connection with the incident at polling station no. 90 in Tbilisi;

The proceedings were launched on the incident in the area of the polling station No. 37 in Kutaisi;

An investigation was launched into the incident that occurred on the outer perimeter of the polling station No. 16 in Rustavi;

One person is being questioned in connection with the incident near the polling station No. 64 in Rustavi;

An investigation in an incident occurred at the polling station # 52 in the village of Dashtafa, Marneuli region, is also underway;

an incident that occurred on October 31 at polling station No. 89 in the village of Kiziladzhlo, Marneuli region, is being investigated under article 126 of the Criminal Code of Georgia;

Per part 1 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, an investigation has been launched into the incident at the 16th polling station of the 64th District Election Commission of Senaki;

In connection with the incident at the polling station No. 80 in Zugdidi, an investigation has been launched under Article 126 of Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, "Kakhaber Sabanadze said.

The police began administrative proceedings on 16 facts of violations; nine people were arrested, including an incident near a polling station in Gldani public school No. 39.

The police also detained six people under Articles 166 and 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
