An investigation has been launched into the death of the nurse, the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed report.ge.
According to them, the investigation was launched under the first part of Article 116 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates the loss of life through negligence.
A young nurse fell into a coma yesterday, March 18, in Akhaltsikhe, after taking the AstraZeneca vaccine at the clinic "Imedi."
The nurse allegedly developed anaphylactic shock after the vaccination.
27-year-old Megi Barbakadze was transferred from Akhaltsikhe to the First University Clinic in Tbilisi.
The young nurse died at the First University Clinic today.
