Judge Giorgi Arevadze fined Nika Gvaramia with GEL 500 for "insulting the court and the judge." The judge fined Nika Gvaramia for statements made at the hearing on January 3.
"Your behavior deserves detention, but I will not do it, because then you will present yourself to the public as a victim," the judge told Gvaramia.
At the previous hearing, Nika Gvaramia questioned the adequacy of the judge and noted that he was not sober. Gvaramia believes that this was his freedom of expression and personal opinion.
