One person has been arrested on the fact of premeditated murder in Chkhorotsku. The offense carries a maximum sentence of 7 to 15 years in prison.
"The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department detained R.K., born in 1992, on charges of premeditated murder. The investigation established that the accused R.K., on the grounds of the dispute, injured M.M., born in 1993, and his brother A.M., born in 1996 with a cold weapon on August 23. The injured were taken to a hospital where A.M. died as a result of the wound inflicted," mentions the information spread by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
