Police opened the murder in Batumi. Adjara police officers arrested D.D., born in 1996, on charges of premeditated murder.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of 7 to 15 years in prison.
The investigation established that the accused, on July 21 of 2021, during a dispute, fatally wounded security guard of one of the cafe-bars in Batumi - J.B., born in 1964, in the area of the same facility, using a cold weapon and fled the scene.
Police arrested the accused in the hot pursuit within hours of the incident.
