Five people arrested in Pankisi on terrorism charges have been sentenced to imprisonment as a preventive measure.
The judge made the decision after a two-hour hearing. The session was closed to the media.
According to the State Security Service, those arrested in Pankisi on terrorism charges were allegedly planning to blow up the building. The case is being investigated under Article 327 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates membership in a terrorist organization.
