Tbilisi City Court is considering imposing a preventive measure on 6 detainees at a November 18 protest rally. Valerian Pilishvili, the judge is discussing the cases of Irakli Nadiradze, Giga Makarashvili, Dimitri Bidzinashvili, Irakli Kacharava, Davit Mzhavanadze and Paata Sosanashvili.
The detainees are being investigated under Articles 166 and 173 of the Administrative Code, which implies imprisonment for 15 days or financial sanction.
The trial of all 37 defendants is due to take place in the City Court today.
The trial of the detainees started yesterday, but was postponed several times and continued late at night. A a result the City Court temporarily released 6 persons detained at the rally.
