Gigi Ugulava's trial is scheduled for tomorrow in Tbilisi City Court. Ugulava himself spreads information about it.
"Tomorrow, on June 3, at 11:00 am, my trial was scheduled in the City Court, where I am accused of beating judoka Badri Saba Gavashelishvili at the airport," Gigi Ugulava wrote.
Gigi Ugulava's previous trial was scheduled for May 13, but the prosecutor tested positive on coronavirus, which delayed the trial.
The incident took place in 2019 at Tbilisi International Airport. According to Goka Gabashvili and Gigi Ugulava, they were attacked by two unknown persons. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the incident under Article 126, violence. Ugulava is accused of beating Badri Gavashelishvili.
