Employees of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the investigative actions, arrested A.K., born in 1991, and A.M., born in 1988 in Tbilisi on charges of gang violence.
The investigation established that the accused abused J.C., born in 1993, verbally and physically due to intolerance on the grounds of gender identity, on August 9 of 2021, in the vicinity of the circus in Tbilisi.
Law enforcers arrested A.K. and A.M. in hot pursuit. The investigation is underway under Article 126, Part 1, Subparagraph B of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates gang violence.
