The Administration of the President of Georgia has issued the statement presented below:
''The national unity process launched at the president's initiative is complex, open, and transparent and is not secret in the slightest. Different information has been spread recently, and the source of the information has not been the Administration of the President.
At the beginning of the national unity process,the president listens to everyone, holds meetings and takes intrerest in opinions of different groups of the society, their initiatives, and positions. This is part of one national unity process.
The fact that not only political parties are involved in the process but the public also, including NGOs working on the issue of victims is also critical.
The president of Georgia has already conducted meetings with the patriarch of Georgia, the fourth president Giorgi Margvelashvili, and representatives of political parties. The process continues, with the president actively involved in it,'' the statment reads.
