Kakha Kuchava Deputy Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia, who is paying a working visit to the United States together with Archil Talakvadze, the Chairperson of the Parliament, met with Congressman Steve Chabot.
The meeting focused on the Strategic Partnership, and two sides highly appreciated the cooperation of the two countries.
The member of Congress talked to the media after the meeting.
"Georgia's role is great in Afghanistan, where together with our military personnel, Georgians fight with dedication, and we are grateful for that. We want our relationship to grow and develop. Georgia has the right to its lands, Russia occupied Georgian land in South Ossetia and Abkhazia, and these territories are the part of Georgia, not Russia," Steve Chabot said.
