Charles Michel, the President of the European Council, stated after the meeting with Georgian PM Gharibashvili that the EU stands by Georgia amidst the pandemic, and the COVID-19 vaccine will be available to the country in the immediate future.
In Michel's words, the EU has approved EUR 1.5 bln package for Georgia, with this enabling the country to tackle its social and economic issues.
"I personally assure you that Georgia will have access to the vaccine in the near future," he declared.
