The Representative of the President of the European Council, Christian Danielsson, met Georgia's opposition politicians.
The officials focused on a six-point framework document adopted by President Michel.
The opposition politicians said they have no right to disclose the details of the meeting.
They noted that they were talking about plans to get out of the political crisis.
"We discussed all the points of this document, the opposition's vision of what needs to be done to solve the problems spelled out there, as well as where there may be a line of compromise," said one of the leaders of "European Georgia" David Bakradze.
"There are three fundamental questions for me. There should be no political prisoners in the country. Moreover, the only way out of a political crisis of this magnitude in any democratic country is re-electing. It is also important for me to put an end to polarization and one-party rule in this country," said Zurab Japaridze, leader of the "Girchi - More Freedom" party.
