The joint hearing of Foreign Relations and Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committees hearing of Minister Ketevan Tsikhelashvili has been closed to the media.
State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality of Georgia made comments to the media ahead of the committee, noting that the talks would focus on developments in Atotsi, as well as the peace initiative Step to a Better Future. Among the topics to be discussed was encouraging trade along the dividing lines.
The opposition demanded for the part of the session to be open but Committee Chairmen decided otherwise.
