The Vice-Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani, responds to the European Commission's decision, which recognized Georgia's Covid-passports.
"Excellent news! Georgia has joined the EU Covid Certificate System, thus taking another big step in the fight against the pandemic. Georgia remains committed to its Western values and principles and is ready to continue working with its European partners," the minister wrote on Twitter.
According to the decision made by the European Commission, Georgian citizens, who have a certificate confirming the completion of the full course of vaccination, will be able to move within the territory of the European Union.
