EaP Summit: Gharibashvili reaffirms Georgia's resoluteness to achieve Euro-Atlantic aspirations

Georgian PM Irakli Gharibashvili participated in the 6th Eastern Partnership Summit held in Brussels today. Gharibashvili emphasized in his speech that Georgia is resolute to defend its decision by moving forward on the EU path. He also focused on the associated trio and pointed out that the format clearly shows one of the key principles of partnership, which is differentiation. The PM expressed hope that the cooperation between the trio and the EU would be deepened to bring the three countries closer to the EU. 

Gharibashvili also mentioned the regional security challenges and emphasized the necessity of the EU's more active involvement in conflict resolution, including Russia's readiness to fulfill its obligations under the 2008 Ceasefire Agreement.
