Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze responded to a letter sent by Congressmen to Mike Pompeo, noting that the document did not mention Bidzina Ivanishvili as a Russian oligarch.
According to her, Ivanishvili is the guarantor of democracy in Georgia.
"Bidzina Ivanishvili is not an oligarch. On the contrary, he is the guarantor of democracy and development in Georgia. I am confident that our government will start and continue the democratic processes that have been going on in Georgia for several years," Tikaradze said.
