Droa leader Elene Khoshtaria considers Gori hospital suitable for providing adequate treatment to ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili.
In Koshtaria's words, she discussed the issue with specialists.
''This is not a political battle, an agenda, or game. The man's life is at stake. What can be more valuable than life? They must transfer him to a hospital, does not matter which one. Wherever specialists will say, they must transfer him there,'' Khoshtaria declared.
Lawyer Beka Basilaia said earlier that ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili collapsed after meeting lawyers and was taken away on a stretcher.
Mikheil Saakashvili, detained on 1 October, has been on a hunger strike for 49 days now.
