As Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia, Carl Hartzell says, various political parties' involvement is required for the government and opposition to reach an agreement.
In his words, it will take several days to see if it is possible.
Hartzell states that the parties will find a way to meet both parties' interests.
"Conversations are underway. I think we see some progress, but the time is short," he said, adding he believes the parties will find a way showing both sides' concerns.
Georgian politicians held two rounds of negotiations with foreign diplomats' involvement earlier in the US Ambassador's office.
The date of the following meeting is unknown.
