"We are announcing a bill that will be an important step towards weakening the influence groups in the court," a member of the Political Council for the party "For Georgia," MP Anna Buchukuri stated.
She said the ongoing process of appointing judges should be stopped.
"We will attend the hearings and use the tribune to show the public once again the vicious sides of the ongoing processes. We will not support the candidates for judges selected based on a process like this one," she said.
According to her, the Parliament should elect five non-judicial members of the High Council of Justice in the near future, which, according to the constitution, requires the votes of 90 deputies.
"We will only support independent candidates whose trust will not be questioned," said a member of the party "For Georgia."
