The Georgian Dream (GD) faction chairman Mamuka Mdinaradze says that the statement by the Prosecutor's Office has testified to the fact that it did not aim to put Nika Melia behind bars.
"The decision by the Prosecutor's Office demonstrated that arresting the defendant was not its objective. This decision was conditioned by the law: the Prosecutor's Office had no other choice but demanding that the court use more severe measure of restraint against him," Mdinaradze stressed.
