Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze has introduced new deputy minister Grigol Giorgadze to his staff members.
According to the Defence Ministry, the new deputy minister specializes in international law, and he is set to head the legal department. Additionally, he will curate the human resources department and the School Of Institutional Renaissance Of Defense (DIBS).
The statement by the Defence Ministry goes on to say that Grigol Giorgadze gained education in the field of law both in Georgia and the US, and he is now seeking his doctoral degree. He also has a wide experience of holding different senior positions.
''Additionally, Grigol Giorgadze is involved in academic activities and delivers lectures in different higher educational institutions in the fields of international law, fundamental human rights and freedoms, and legal systems in Georgia and Rome,'' the statement concludes.
