“Peace and tranquility are the most important things for those focused on the economical aspects in order to provide more prosperity to our citizens”, Girogi Gakharia, the Prime Minister of Georgia said after meeting with Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia. The two leaders held a joint press conference for the media.
According to the Prime Minister of Georgia during the meeting with Nikol Pashinyan trade and economic relations were discussed as well as the importance of cooperation in the field of transport and energy.
The Head of the Government noted that the friendly relationship between Georgia and Armenia has a long history.
According to the Prime Minister during the meeting regional issues were discussed, including the importance of mutual support on international platforms.
“We agreed that the territorial integrity that Armenia supports is critically important to us and we are thankful for that. The positive changes that we have made lately on the international platforms in terms of supporting each other should be strengthened and deepened”, Giorgi Gakharia said.
