A libertarian Girchi [Geo. pinecone] leader Vakhtang Megrelishvili says he is willing to get acquainted with Mikheil Saakashvili, but the latter and the UNM deem him an enemy.
Megrelishvili considers Saakashvili a 'historical figure' and says he can enter the hospital to see him.''If I go there on my initiative, I will be inadequate; however, if Mikheil Saakashvili also showed a similar desire, I would meet him with great pleasure,'' Vakhtang Megrelishvili said.
Mikheil Saakashvili was moved from the Gldani prison facility to the Gori Military Hospital on 20 November after Justice Minister Rati Bregadze suggested that the hunger-striking ex-president be transferred there.
Saakashvili was detained on 1 October.
