Girchi party wants government 'to hold back from interfering with 8 November political actions'

The libertarian Girchi [pinecone] party has released a statement that says that the government uses the fight against the virus as its political tool.

"Restrictions are ruining our economy and creating political tensions, with this having no positive effect on the spread of the virus whatsoever and making it even more dangerous.

A similar approach prevents people from differentiating between tools protecting them against the virus and political tools.

We call on the government to hold back from interfering with 8 November political actions by making decisions to enforce restrictions which will prevent us from organizing the rally," the statement reads.

The party advises the opposition and left-wing media to support the requirement of the immediate lifting of restrictions and opening the country's borders.

Opposition parties plan to stage massive protests on 8 November.
