"Ukraine is Georgia's strategic partner, and I think today's meeting is the basis for deepening and developing our relations," Ukrainian Prime Minister Alexei Goncharuk said at the meeting with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Gakharia.
Mr. Goncharuk also thanked the Georgian PM for his support of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty on the international scene.
"We will exert all-out efforts to increase trade, the number of tourists between our countries and develop our economic relations," the PM said and added that, unfortunately, they have to cope with similar challenges and expressed hope that through joint efforts they will succeed in fighting against the aggressor.
Alexei Goncharuk also underscored the European aspirations of both countries and said that they are involved in active cooperation in this field too.
"It will be beneficial for us if we refine our strategy and accelerate our integration into the European family. I think we can achieve a lot together, and we are ready to cooperate," the Ukrainian PM declared.
