The criminal responsibility for murder cases may be stiffened in Georgia. As head of the Georgian Dream parliamentary faction Mamuka Mdinaradze told reporters an initiative may be raised on stiffening the sanctions with the aim of the crime prevention.
‘I do not rule out an initiative on the sanctions stiffening may be raised to ensure maximum prevention at the legislative level,’ Mdinaradze remarked.
‘There are only one or two unsolved murder cases in Tbilisi in recent years but I still suppose we can launch discussions on stiffening the sanctions for murder cases,’ Mamuka Mdinaradze stated.
He said the sanction will provide the government with possibility to prevent the heavy crime.
