"The public has become more relaxed, and the recommendations are ignored, which has led to a certain increase in cases," the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili said at a government meeting.
According to Gharibashvili, society must follow the regulations in order to avoid the third wave of the virus.
"We have removed a number of restrictions, but in recent days we have been observing the dynamics, and there has been some increase in cases. In recent days, it has become known that the rate of wearing a mask has dropped alarmingly, which is categorically unacceptable. Once again, I appeal to the population to follow this elementary, simple rule to prevent the third wave," Irakli Gharibashvili said.
