The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili, announced that the government is launching a large-scale renewal program in the country, which envisages urban renewal in 63 municipalities, rehabilitation of important cultural and historical heritage sites, administrative centers of municipalities and arrangement of recreational spaces. Gharibashvili made the statement before the government session.
"There are many places in Georgia that we need to make more attractive. First of all, it should be done for our citizens, and then for the guests of our country. Equal development and promotion of regions happen to be very important. Improving the living, working conditions for our citizens everywhere should become the main goal of the state," Gharibashvili said.
