"NATO's support for Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty is within internationally recognized borders. We recognize the regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia as part of Georgia and welcome the progress that Georgia has made," NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said at a joint news conference after meeting with the Georgian Prime Minister in Brussels.
As the Secretary-General noted, Georgia is already successful and strengthens the country's democracy.
"During our meeting, we talked about cooperation between Georgia and NATO regarding Black Sea security. The Allies agreed to share airborne radar data, and cooperate in the process of joint exercises in the Black Sea region," Jens Stoltenberg stated.
