Parliament Speaker Kakha Kuchava said that Saakashvili was arrested at a professionally high level. According to him, the ex-president's move is not serious, and the information about his presence in Georgia was hard to believe.
"When a person makes a promise a hundred times, it becomes hard to believe; of course, you are surprised. We heard a statement yesterday saying that they were in control of the entire route from Ukraine and arrested him, and no one was injured as a result. My teammates did not lie; they said what they thought. I also thought that Saakashvili was not in Georgia; I could not believe it.
We were shown a video, I gave a simple answer that I did not believe that Saakashvili was in Georgia, and to tell you the truth, I really thought that video was a specially created graphic work," said Kakha Kuchava.
