The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia will start his official visit to Georgia today. Edgars Rinkēvičs will meet with the Prime Minister and the Speaker of Parliament.
Davit Zalkaliani will also hold a face-to-face meeting with him, after which an extended meeting will be held between the delegations of the two countries.
Edgars Rinkēvičs will arrive in the village of Odzisi near the occupation line and get acquainted with the situation on the ground. He will pay tribute to the fallen fighters for the country's unity and lay a wreath at the Heroes' Memorial.
