"We are ready to continue negotiations. We believe that there is no alternative to dialogue, especially in such a difficult situation when we have a one-party parliament for the last 30 years," Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of Lelo, said.
According to Khazaradze, the opposition's demands have not changed, and they are waiting for the government representatives' position on these issues.
"The demands have not changed, which is holding new elections. It is a complete change in the electoral environment to end a thirty-year history of rigging and start a new chapter. These are the demands that have not changed. Nobody is happy about this situation, but it will be a very good lesson. We will put an end to this," Khazaradze said.
Four rounds of talks were held between the government and the representatives of the opposition, and the mediators. The fifth round of negotiations was also scheduled but failed.
