The visit of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Georgia has ended.
Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani, Georgian Ambassador to the United States Davit Bakradze, and US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan saw him off at Tbilisi International Airport.
Mike Pompeo arrived in Georgia yesterday.
During the visit, he held meetings with the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili, the Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaiani.
He also met with the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II and representatives of civil society.
In parallel with his visit, representatives of the opposition held a silent rally.
Before he visited Georgia, he went to France and Turkey. The US Secretary of State will visit Israel after Georgia.
