Third President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili has responded to civic activist Giorgi Mumladze's detention in his social media post.
In Saakashvili's words, he is surprised that politicians chose to stay silent instead of voicing concerns over the activist's detention.
''I denounce the illegal detention of the real intellectual and civic hero Giorgi Mumladze, and like Nika Gvaramia, I am surprised politicians chose to remain silent,'' Saakashvili wrote.
Earlier, the founder of the Mtavari Arkhi, Nika Gvaramia, responded to Giorgi Mumladze's detention in his social media post.
