NATO Military Committee visits JTEC

The NATO Military Committee, led by new Chief Admiral Rob Bauer, has paid a two-day visit to Georgia. This is the NATO Committee's fourth visit to the country. 

Representatives of the NATO Military Committee have also visited The NATO-Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Centre (JTEC) in Krtsanisi. 

The JTEC head held an information briefing for the guest and introduced them to the training opportunities, new infrastructure, and training systems. 

The committee representatives inspected Didgori 2021 Command and Staff Exercise and MAPLE ARCH. 

They also inspected Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia trilateral Eternity 2021 drills remotely. 

Commander of Georgian Defence Forces Major General Giorgi Matiashvili held a meeting with Admiral Rob Bauer later. 

They focused on the defense forces' transformation processes, NATO-Georgia cooperation in the defense field, prospects, and the Black Sea security.
