Eric Drulev, who has been illegally detained by the occupation forces, has been released from custody, according to the SSS of Georgia.
The 21-year-old young man was unlawfully detained in the vicinity of the Roki Tunnel at the Georgia-Russia border on 5 February 2021.
"Shortly after Eric Drulev's illegal detention, the State Security Service activated the hotline to contact the occupation regime. The EU Monitoring Mission was also actively involved in the process.
The State Security Service keeps carrying out efforts to release other citizens held in unlawful custody immediately and unconditionally," the statement by the SSS reads.
