PM Gharibashvili calls for 'genuine dialogue'

"Today, after the law has been enforced, and the government has fulfilled its duty, I appeal to all political forces who love their country to launch a genuine dialogue and focus on what must unit us, rather than focusing on the rift between us now," Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said.

In Gharibashvili's words against the backdrop, the dialogue is mandatory, and he proposed that the parties use the parliament as the platform for discussions and negotiations.

"As I stressed yesterday, we stand ready for a genuine dialogue any time and in any format.

We can put our heads together to find the way out and strengthen our statehood, independence, democratic system, overcome economic and social issues and move Georgia closer to the EU and NATO.

Our country has no time to lose.

We must unite now rather than segregate. May God bless you all," the PM said.
