Ingrida Šimonytė, the Prime Minister of Lithuania, congratulates Giorgi Gakharia on his re-appointment as Prime Minister of Georgia.
The letter also emphasizes that Lithuania commits to support Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as to promote European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

The whole world, including our countries, have been affected by the new coronavirus pandemic and its aftermath. The start of the vaccination process is a turning point in the fight against pandemics. Along with other EU member states, Lithuania has called on the European Commission to set up a support mechanism that will enable Eastern Partnership countries to gain access to the new coronavirus vaccine at an early stage. I am confident that our countries will be able to overcome this challenge in the near future," the letter said.
