"Successful development of the defense forces is impossible without close international cooperation, which is one of the main foundations of our country's defense capabilities," the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili, made the statement during his speech at the event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Georgian Defense Forces.
According to him, today, the relations between Georgia and NATO, as well as the cooperation with our main strategic partner, the United States, are at the highest historical level and have never been so strong.
"This partnership is based on common democratic values and is an essential precondition for the democratic development of our country, the institutional reconstruction of our defense forces, and Euro-Atlantic integration."

An event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Georgian Defense Forces took place at the Vaziani military base.
