Leader of the Conservative Party, Zviad Dzidziguri, says that the government's attitude to ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili is offensive.
''Insulting an inmate and violating his dignity is not in Georgians' blood; it is neither something real men or Christians would do.
Saakashvili was replaced as he did similar misdeeds,'' Zviad Dzidziguri told TV Pirveli.
Ex-president Saakashvili, detained on 1 October, has been on a hunger strike for 47 days now.
