Program of Kartvelology launched at Harvard University

At the initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili, with the financial efforts of the Government of Georgia, for the first time in the history of the United States, the program of Kartvelology will be launched at the Davis Center of Harvard University.

The Kartvelology program will facilitate the dissemination and exchange of academic knowledge about Georgia's history, culture, literature, and politics, as well as the country's economic development and contribution to science. The program will also include studies in the field of Caucasology.

The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili, the Minister of Education and Science Mikheil Chkhenkeli, the Vice-Rector of Harvard University Mark Elliot, Executive Director of the Davis Center, Alexandra Varkru, and History Professor, Director of the Kartvelology Studies Program, Stephen Jones, addressed the guests gathered at the event.
