The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, participated in the elections. She told reporters after the voting procedure that there was a need to establish peace in the country and learn unity.
"It is necessary that we all learn unity, peace, and tranquility together. I voted for that. I very much hope that this polarization, which we saw in this pre-election period and previously, will end and should end; if not, then only our neighbor benefits from it," said Salome Zurabishvili.
