According to the State Security Service, the occupants illegally detained a Georgian citizen near the occupied village of Vaneli.
The hotline has been activated, as well as the EUMM and the co-chairs and international partners of the Geneva International Discussions.
"All available leverage has been put in place, and work is underway with international partners to secure the release of the illegally detained citizen. Illegal arrests by the occupying forces are damaging the security environment on the ground and making life extremely difficult for the local population," said the statement.
