Tea Tsulukiani: He will be transferred as soon as it becomes necessary

Minister of Culture and Deputy Prime Minister Tea Tsulukiani says she fully shares the Strasbourg court's call for Mikheil Saakashvili to end the hunger strike.

According to Tsulukiani, a hunger strike as one of the forms of protest is not welcome for her, as it harms human health.

According to Tsulukiani, there is no need to transfer Mikheil Saakashvili to the civil clinic, and if necessary, the penitentiary service will take appropriate measures.

"Hunger harms health, so this is not the form of protest I would welcome. There is no need to worry because as soon as there is a reason to transfer him to a civilian clinic, of course, as the penitentiary service has always done, will do the same in this case," Tsulukiani said.
