Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of "Lelo," and Zurab Japaridze, the leader of "Girchi More Freedom," have been suspended from the parliament.
Seventy-nine deputies supported the termination of Zurab Japaridze's term of office, while no one was against it.
As for Mamuka Khazaradze, 79 deputies also supported the termination of his mandate, while two were against it.
In accordance with the Constitution of Georgia and the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, the statements of Mamuka Khazaradze and Zurab Japaridze were examined by the Parliamentary Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules - before the issue was submitted to the plenary session. Today, the deputies discussed the issue of terminating Mamuka Khazaradze's parliamentary mandate, and in this case, too, they made a positive decision.
