UNM head Nika Melia has held a special briefing. He stressed that unity is now a must, adding that tomorrow's three rallies will not be held, and the public will gather on First Republic Square instead.
''We expect everyone at 3 pm tomorrow at Republic Square. Put off everything and join us as Mikheil Saakashvili's murder is a murder of the entire country for multiple years. Despite tomorrow being a working day, our main job is to be done at Republic Square. We have formulated a specific plan to which we will introduce you tomorrow.
I will now address authorities advising them that if they still have common sense, they must transfer Mikheil Saakashvili to a civilian clinic before 3 pm tomorrow.
We will make all-out efforts to prevent you from assassinating Mikheil Saakashvili,'' Nika Melia declared.
Lawyer Beka Basilaia said earlier that ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili collapsed after meeting lawyers and was taken away on a stretcher.
Mikheil Saakashvili, detained on 1 October, has been on a hunger strike for 49 days now.
