National Movement leader Nika Melia has posted on his social media account the following statement:
''I will now write briefly and will expand on this issue in the coming days.
Firstly, I refuse to pay the bail even if it was in the amount of GEL 1, and I do ask everyone who is eager to do so (whether it be a foreigner or anyone else) to forget about their altruistic intention to post my bail.
Secondly, before they subject the issue of my release to discussions in any form of format, I must know at Rustavi No.12 Penitentiary Facility that Giorgi Rurua is already at home.
And finally, I reiterate even if they reach an agreement regarding all issues, I will never allow Ivanishvili to anyhow benefit from my bail-related situation! Everything will be well in the end. We should neither get tired nor complain, though,'' Melia wrote.
